Mrs. Wilberding's Classroom
Welcome to Mrs. W's Room!
My name is Nicolette Wilberding and I am a third year special education teacher. This is my second year as the teacher of the Lower CI program here at Turrill. Many of the students in the class are the same and we have a few new friends too. So far we are off to a great year!
To the left (Directly under "Mrs. Wilberding's Classroom") you will find links to a classroom calendar, some favorite links, and a form to contact me. Below is some basic information about our classroom that may be valuable to you.
Specials Schedule
Monday: Technology
Tuesday: Art and Library
Wednesday: Music
Thursday: PE (please send appropriate shoes)
Recess
With the exception of rainy days, students will go outside for recess after lunch and for 20 minutes at the end of the day. Please be sure to send appropriate clothing for the weather.
Snacks
We eat snack as a class each morning. We are always in need of snacks to store in our snack cupboard. Some healthy suggestions are crackers, pretzels, fruit snacks, etc.
Extra Clothing
Each student has a box in the classroom to store spare clothing. Please make sure your child has extra pants, shirts, socks, and underwear to keep at school for accidents (bathroom, spilled water, sitting in something messy, etc).
Birthday Treats
If you would like to send in a treat for your child's birthday please feel free. We do have one child with a chocolate allergy, please consider this when choosing a treat.
