Lapeer Schools Community –
We are saddened to report the passing of Roxann Johnson, one of our beloved elementary special education teachers and a friend to so many in our school community. Roxann passed away as the result of injuries sustained this morning in a car accident.
Roxann taught in Lapeer Community Schools for over 25 years and as a result has touched the lives of so many beyond the Turrill School Community.
We will have district emotional support staff on hand for the remainder of the week providing ongoing support for students and staff.
Please keep the family and those who worked closest with Roxann in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
